Verrucae treatment

Verrucae are benign tumours that can occur any where on the skin, the Human Pappiloma virus is the organism that causes verrucae. They are contracted by contact with a contaminated surface e.g. swimming pool areas, changing rooms etc. Some people are more susceptible than others. Most infections clear without treatment within one to two years. However sometimes they can be painful and in this instance it is worthwhile seeking treatment, at The Foot Clinic we have access to treatments including Laser and liquid Nitrogen at -196°C to treat these verrucae, treatment is uncomfortable and can be painful however this treatment is considered the best available for the treatment of warts and verrucae.
